From a business standpoint, it’s interesting to note that Ampegy’s Chief Marketing Officer is Steve Smith of Excel Communications fame. Smith is well known in the industry and is arguably the top individual income earner in network marketing history. It’s always a plus to have someone on the corporate team that has the type of experience that Smith has. From a marketing standpoint, energy is probably one of the simplest services to market since everyone already uses it and will continue to use it. So in essence, you’re basically selling a service that people already use and using relationship marketing to acquire customers.
The Ampegy Business Opportunity
In order to become a distributor, you would have to pay an additional start-up cost of $400 and then maintain some additional monthly fees to maintain your websites, which is pretty typical for network marketing businesses. The actual compensation plan provides several ways to earn income. There is upfront income available through various bonuses based on getting customers which will “qualify” your distributors. There is also long-term, residual income based on building a customer base that continues to use the service, and getting paid a monthly commission on their billing. In addition, there’s also Check Match Bonuses available for top producers. Overall, the compensation plan looks quite fair and can be very lucrative for the right person.
Is Ampegy A Good Business Opportunity?
In closing, Ampegy looks to be a good business opportunity. Not only you can take advantage of the deregulation of energy, but you can also participate with a company that can potentially be to energy services what Excel Communications was to telecommunications. In addition, because Spark Energy has been around for over a decade, you’ll have the upside potential of partnering with new network marketing company, but have the stability of a “parent company” that is solid and stable.
With that said, having all that in place isn’t enough to succeed. While it’s clear that having a stable company is critical to your business, at the end of the day, your success will rely on your ability to sponsor new people into your business, get customers and build a productive team. One of the key components to accomplishing those things is the ability to market and generate leads. My recommendation is that you use a proven Attraction Marketing system that allows you to brand yourself, generate leads, and make money even when people don’t join your business and sponsor people on the back-end. If you can incorporate online attraction marketing and branding with a solid offline system, there’s no telling how successful you can be with your Ampegy business.
